Isidoros Kakouris is an archaeologist who has rendered service for more than 40 years to the Hellenic Ministry of Culture as curator in ephorates of byzantine monuments, head of the relevant department, chairman of the board of directors of the Fund of Credits Management for Arhaeological Projects, member of the Central Archaeological Council, representative of the Ministry in the Commission of the EU, national focal point of UNESCO etc. He has a great experience in the fields of museology, preservation of monuments, rescue and preventive archaeology, planning and implementation of national and international cultural programs and activities.
